Stannah Produces 500,000th Stairlift

On February 23, 2011 the Stannah Group marked the production of its 500,000th stairlift with a visit from His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. During the visit, the Prince met with a number of employees, as well as members of the Stannah family, at the company’s home office in Andover. In a statement, Group Director Patrick Stannah commented, “Our business is, and has always been, founded on The Stannah Promise. It’s about doing things well, making products we are proud of and growing the business in a responsible and ethical way”. A plaque now hangs in the Stannah factory to commemorate the visit and this major milestone for the company.
